Hey, there, dear sisters!
This weekend, I’d like to encourage us all to remember to use our best manners with our husbands. 😇
We did this in the beginning when we were first dating. We were on our best behavior and wanted to impress our guys. Good manners are part of a building a strong, healthy marriage. They help to foster intimacy and trust even when you’ve been married for a long time.
The little things make a big difference over time.
1. Smile brightly. ✅
2. Seek to speak with a pleasant, friendly tone of voice. ✅
3. Try to use words and phrases like:✅
- Thank you!
- Excuse me/pardon me
- You’re welcome
- I apologize (without justifying what I did wrong)
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.Romans 12:10
Help us use beautiful manners with our husbands to show them honor because we love and reverence You. Help us to do good to them all the days of our lives and never do them harm. Make us a blessing to our husbands and marriages. And may our thoughts, words, and actions bring joy to Your heart most of all. Please empower us by Your Spirit to love with Your love.
You’re welcome to share in the comments if you want to join the challenge!
Also, please share any pro-tips you’ve learned about how to bless your husband and marriage with good manners.
Much love! ❤️
