We met when I was 15 and Greg was 16.  We dated 6 years and got married – and this May will be 19 years of marriage!!!!!  I am SO THANKFUL that I am married to Greg and that I have the honor of being his wife!!!!!  What made Greg so special to me that I stayed with him?

There were so many things I admired about him:

  • He loved Jesus and was committed to Him.
  • My Daddy approved of him and liked him.  That was THE most important thing to me, after him being a believer in Christ!  I had always been my Daddy’s girl.
  • He was a good student and made great grades in his honors classes – so I felt like we were fairly evenly matched intellectually.  But he wasn’t prideful about it at all.  That was refreshing!.
  • He made me laugh a lot.

    Congrats! You’d think we married the same man ;). But seriously, have a wise husband can be frustrating at times like the day before your period! I had a similar experience during my first pregnancy before we even knew we were expecting he told me I was being irrational and asked if I was…lol. I was upset about that…for a short time!

    :) God certainly blessed you with a wonderful Godly man. While many of us have had struggles within our marriages/spouses/ or walk with The Lord etc….thats not to say your life is a cookie cutter perfect life or marriage by anymeans. Every Christian has struggles and trials. Its wonderful to see the greatness of your marriage unfold in your writings and prayers! God is good ALL of the time!
